For this series of ten black/white woodcuts I used leftovers from the bin at the student workshop at ArtCenter College of Design, the school where I taught for thirteen years. The leftovers from student's projects became the carrier material for my "teachings." Since ArtCenter is a private college, my salary as professor was paid to a large extend with tuition money. This series acknowledges this economic double bind.
